“Shoemaker” by Eureka C. Bianzon

A man settled himself near the church door
Where people who pass in & out are vital in his world
I wend in his place gazing on cut leathers everywhere
Where dirty, stained, old shoes were there

I’ve noticed a pairs of shoes, they were nicely made
He told those were his daughters wished to be repaired
It touched my heart when I glanced deeply at him
His right eye was blind that only the left could see the things

Tears fell for I admire him though
He opened up my heart to the world’s real door
He is the tremendous creature,
A loving father I’ve seen in this world
The inspiration he gave amazed me the most

He made me realize how deeply we can go
The depth of faith with God will make us strong
This world is a world of repair needed
Not only for the shoes
But for us humans to keep doing good
Like stained, broken shoes we can
Be repaired and be renewed

“Undisturbed water” by Eureka C. Bianzon

As I walked up to the lake

I noticed some women were

Washing their clothes in the water

I started crossing onward on to the lake

Thought of conquering the place

To wander

As I reached on the lake side

I’ve stared on the water glancing

On my own reflection

It was clear and undisturbed

Suddenly when I stepped on it

It subside

The clearness was gone

I’ve lost my reflection

And hard to be understood

I’ve spent a little time to reflect

Undisturbed water symbolizes

 The clearness of our thoughts

Once being disturbed

It would be hard to be understood

This is needed to be settled down

Before it will show you

The clearness of its mood

“Simple, iba ka sa iba”ni Eureka C. Bianzon

Kaysarap mabuhay sa mundo mong kakaiba

Ika’y nakakahanga, simple iba ka sa iba

Manunulat,isa ding simpleng rakista

Iyong iginuguhit tila may hatid na ala ala

Sadyang ako’y humahanga  tinatanaw ang iyong mukha

Ngiti mong nakaka aliw, labing mala sutla

Mga matang nangungusap,kaway na nakakahalina

Isa kang mahika sadyang ipinagkaloob ng tadhana

Simple,walang halong pagkukunwari

Kilos bata man kung minsan ito’y nakawiwili

Paano bang ikay hindi hahanapin

Maalala ka lang gusto agad ika’y kausapin

Sarap maging sandalan, hingahan kapag may dinaramdam

Iyong pakikinig sa’kin nakakagaan ng aking kalooban

Sino ba ang hindi makaka alala sa isang tulad mo

Wagas ang kalooban , kapag tumanggap sadyang totoo
